CSK vs PBKS

CSK and PBKS matches are some of the most exciting in IPL history, featuring two teams with fierce rivalries who always seem ready to fight one another.

Their history together has produced some of the greatest IPL matches ever seen and, this season, reformed Punjab Kings are out to exact revenge against CSK after losing 2025.

On April 10th at PCA Stadium in Mohali, both teams put on an exciting show but it remained close up until Shreyas put out of reach PBKS and secured a comfortable win for CSK.

This first match is part of three match series between these sides – final match will take place May 5th at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

IPL 2025

The 2025 Indian Premier League was the 18th edition of its popular franchise-based Twenty20 cricket tournament. A global phenomenon, it saw matches broadcast live into over 100 countries around the globe and drew huge crowds to stadiums around India.

Tradition dictates that the tournament opener takes place in the home city of the reigning champion, so this places Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium as an obvious venue to host it; however, its availability remains in question following June 4 stampede incident that resulted in 11 fatalities at this stadium.

This would require additional franchises as well as logistical challenges associated with bilateral series commitments and tournament commitments such as bilateral series or ICC tournaments.

IPL 2029

IPL officials are considering expanding to a full home-and-away 94-match format during its next media-rights cycle beginning 2028, as TV and streaming viewership has declined midway through season due to fatigue among viewers.

CSK and PBKS have squared off against one another 30 times during IPL competition, with Chennai winning 16 times outright. Their last meeting took place in 2024 when Yuzvendra Chahal scored three wickets for CSK as they beat PBKS by eight wickets.

At MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, PBKS batted first and scored 156/8; CSK then responded with 171/6 in their response. Even though PBKS lost, they still achieved their best finish since 2014 (sixth), and now trail third-placed SRH by only one point for playoff qualification.

IPL 2031

IPL 2021 marked the 21st edition of India’s premier Twenty20 cricket league, organized by BCCI. Played between 9 April and 4 May with its final held at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on 13 May; originally set to end on 25 May due to increased reports of Covid-19 cases within team bio-bubbles, it was postponed due to high covid-19 cases reported among some teams.

Still, this season was a huge success for all participating franchises and produced some truly unforgettable matches – most memorably between CSK and Punjab Kings which ended with Punjab Kings coming out victorious after an exciting finish.

IPL 2032

Since the inception of Indian Premier League, many sporting rivalries have arisen and dissipated over its history. CSK vs PBKS remains one of the fiercest conflicts, producing some of the greatest matches played between these teams in this tournament.

This season of the Indian Premier League will include ten teams after welcoming newcomers Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans into play.

The opening match of this tournament will see Chennai Super Kings face Kolkata Knight Riders as defending champions.

Teams have been split into two groups; Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and newcomers comprise Group A while Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad Royal Challengers Bangalore Punjab Kings are included in Group B. IPL 2033

CSK and PBKS have enjoyed a fierce rivalry for many years in the IPL, drawing huge crowds wherever their encounter occurs! Over 30 games between them in total have taken place – Chennai winning 16 times while Punjab coming out victorious 14 times!

The IPL 2023 tournament will see defending champions Gujarat Titans take on four-time winners Chennai Super Kings for its inaugural match, to be played in Ahmedabad on March 31.
