Lahore Qalandars vs Islamabad United

Lahore Qalandars have experienced difficulties this season in the Pakistan Super League. A poor run of results combined with injuries has only compounded this dissatisfaction; on Wednesday a bowler from their squad was injured during practice and it went viral online.

Injury was sustained through an unfortunate occurrence; while bowler Shazeen Afridi was throwing down deliveries for batters to practice hitting, one of them struck directly on his face causing excruciating pain and sending shockwaves through him and other players rushing in comfort him and console him as quickly as they could.

Luke Ronchi led United with ease in their chase, hitting eight fours and six sixes from just 77 balls – supported by JP Duminy who scored 32 runs off 51 balls while McCullum hit 12 balls off just 12.

Islamabad bowlers were powerless against Lahore’s attack and all out for 107 after Sahibzada Farhan scored 50. Rishad Hossain (2-34) and Afridi (3-16) shared wickets en route to Lahore taking three wins out of five matches and moving up into fourth position overall, where they will meet 2019 champions Quetta Gladiators in the final.

Lahore vs Rawalpindi

Luke Ronchi batted superbly against Lahore Qalandars bowlers, scoring an outstanding 77 off 49 balls as Islamabad United took second place in HBL Pakistan Super League third edition table with an eight wicket win against wooden spooners Lahore Qalandars.

Qalandars began poorly but were given a boost from Brendon McCullum who scored 33 runs off 12 deliveries before all out for 163 in 18 overs despite Brendon McCullum’s efforts.

Lahore vs Gaddafi Stadium

Gaddafi Stadium (also referred to as Lahore Stadium) is an iconic cricket ground located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan owned and maintained by Pakistan Cricket Board, home of Lahore Qalandars in Pakistan Super League.

Named in honour of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi it stands out among iconic sports facilities in Pakistan; witness memorable cricket moments including hosting first ODI and Cricket World Cup final held there!

The stadium seats 34,000, making it the largest cricket venue in India. Designed with an eye-catching circular design and easily identifiable floodlight towers, its floodlight towers make this landmark easily recognizable in the cityscape. Furthermore, its location makes accessing it easier than ever.

Gaddafi Stadium will become home for the Multan Sultans franchise team by 2026, joining other professional sports clubs such as Lahore FC, Islamabad United and Pakistan Women’s National Cricket Team franchises in Lahore and Islamabad respectively. This move marks a positive step for local cricket.

Lahore Qalandars kicked off their campaign in the Pakistan Super League with a convincing 69-run win against Hyderabad Kingsmen at Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday.

Unfortunately, only approximately 1,000 spectators showed up due to rising fuel costs which had encouraged people to stay home during this match.

Batting first, Qalandars launched an offensive assault from the start. Opener Naeem Zaman led with 60 runs off 28 balls, hitting four boundaries and four towering sixes for his efforts – supported by top order partner Parvez Hossain Emon who displayed impressive hitting abilities throughout.

Middle and lower orders also contributed, with Denesh Ramdin scoring a quickfire 22 ball 33 not out and Anton Devcich producing an outstanding 42-ball 62. McCullum then made sure the score passed 200 by dominating United bowlers during his final overs to take it beyond 200 runs.
