Bangladesh will look to finish off their series against Ireland at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram when they play the third and final T20I on December 2. Both teams have won one match each, so victory for Bangladesh would seal it with ease.

Both their bowling and batting performances have been excellent – Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das leading their batting, while Mustafizur Rahman, Rishad Hossain, and Mahedi Hasan performing exceptionally with the ball.

Ireland are in danger of being bowled out for a low total as they struggle to score runs. Bangladesh completed a four-wicket win against Ireland in Chattogram’s second Twenty20 international, powered by Litton Das’ 16th T20I half century to post a 171-run target, which Ireland were unable to match due to regular wicket falls.

Bangladeshi bowlers made light work of Ireland’s batsmen, with Mustafizur Rahman and Rishad Hossain each taking three wickets off Ireland despite the best efforts of Paul Stirling; ultimately Ireland were dismissed for just 117.

Parvez Hossain Emon was off to an explosive start, striking two sixes off Gareth Delany within one over and reaching 43 off 25 balls in just 25 deliveries.

Mahdi Hasan quickly put an end to Ireland’s innings by dismissing Tim and Harry Tector in quick succession, stumping off their first delivery when Tim attempted a hit that skidded under his bat; and having Harry caught by Curtis Campher at deep midwicket.

Tector cruised to his first T20I fifty with an explosive drive, only to soon fall short when trying to hit Shoriful Islam over the long-on boundary rope with another mishit ball and end up giving Islam enough time to recover and catch it on his third attempt.

Mohammad Saifuddin made an immediate impact upon entering the game as the new batter with two pull boundaries off Josh Little at short fine leg, before scoring four fours and sixes off Mark Adair to keep Bangladesh in control of proceedings.

Irish batsmen were ultimately dismissed when Shafiullah got the ball spinning, then used its spin to take out Litton Das who hit two sixes and four fours within seven balls to send Bangladesh to victory with seven balls remaining – making this victory complete and ending the series 2-1 for them!
