All-rounder Sai Sudharsan

A stylish left-hander, Sai Sudharsan is making waves in domestic and international cricket circles. After impressing in the age-group circuit, he made his senior debut for Tamil Nadu in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 competition in 2022 and then tasted success with a fine 610-run campaign in Vijay Hazare Trophy the same year. He was rewarded with an IPL gig after being bought by Gujarat Titans for INR 20 lakh in the auction, and he did well at the top of the order for the franchise.

With the ODI series against South Africa coming up, Sudharsan was named in India’s squad and he made a solid impact with two successive half-centuries. His performances led to him getting a Test call-up for the tour of England, where he scored a fifty in his debut match in Leeds.

Sudharsan is a versatile player who can bat in any position and bowl part-time leg-spin. He has a calm temperament at the crease and his elegant strokeplay is a treat to watch. The 24-year-old is a talented batter who will be looking to improve on his consistency with the bat this season. He is a player to watch out for in the future.

Batsman Rinku Singh

Rinku Singh is a talented left-handed batsman who has impressed with his aggressive hitting in domestic cricket. The youngster has developed into a dangerous middle order player for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, and his consistency with the red ball has made him one of the most promising young batsmen in India.

The left-hander was born and raised in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, and he credits his early success with the game to his parents’ support. Singh’s hard work and determination have paid off, and he is poised to become an important cog in the KKR lineup.

Singh’s breakthrough season in 2023 saw him accumulate a massive amount of runs, and it caught the eye of national selectors. He earned a place in the squad for the away T20 series against Ireland, and he has since established himself as a regular in the side. He has a knack for playing crucial innings in pressure situations, and he is a potent finisher for the franchise.

While he is best known for his T20I exploits, Singh has also played a handful of ODIs for India. He has a solid technique and is able to rotate the strike, which allows him to score more runs at a higher rate. He is a solid option at number six in the batting order, and his consistent performances have earned him plenty of praise from the national selectors.

Singh is a natural finisher, and his performance in the 2025 Asia Cup has shown that he can handle big occasions. He is a key part of the KKR batting lineup, and he has the potential to lead the side in the future.

A former minor league baseball pitcher, Singh has also competed in WWE’s wrestling promotion under the ring name Veer Mahaan. He is the son of an LPG delivery man and the brother of an auto-rickshaw driver. He has a huge following on social media, and he is a fan favorite in the Indian subcontinent. He will look to continue his impressive run of form in the upcoming IPL season.

Left-arm spinner Karthik Manikandan

Kartik Manikandan was in top form as he claimed three crucial wickets to help Lancashire restrict Durham to 372 in the first innings of their four-day County match at Old Trafford, Manchester. The left-arm spinner, who has been out of the reckoning for some time, looked a bowler on top form.

Veteran India discard and Railways captain Murali Kartik found himself at the centre of controversy after mankading Bengal batsman Sandipan Das during a Ranji Trophy quarter-final in New Delhi on Sunday. While discussing Tamil Nadu Cricket Team Players, Kartik’s incident remains a notable example of the debates surrounding run-outs at the non-striker’s end.
