Ishan Kishan will serve as wicket-keeper. Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma make up the rest of SRH team along with Hardik Pandya (c), Nehal Wadhera Tim David Mohammad Nabi Gerald Coetzee Jasprit Bumrah. In this article, we will discuss the high lights of Sunrisers Hyderabad Vs Mumbai Indians Match Scorecard.

Suryakumar Yadav 102 not out

Suryakumar Yadav made an exceptional return after missing three games due to sports hernia surgery, helping Mumbai Indians beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets at Wankhede Stadium. His stunning right-handed performance included hitting an unbeaten 102 off 51 balls with six maximums as they chased down their target of 174 in 16 overs for victory and off the bottom of the table. In partnership with Tilak Varma (37 not out off 32), Suryakumar ensured MI did not collapse in their final innings but secured victory effortlessly with ease and ease!

It was the 29-year-old’s second IPL century of this season and sixth overall – taking his overall total to 334 runs in nine matches and equalling Rohit Sharma’s record for most three-figure scores by an MI batsman in league play – putting MI on the verge of finishing within the top four spots.

Hardik Pandya (25) and Piyush Chawla (3-33) provided ample support as Indian bowlers kept SRH under control – the hosts managing only to gain momentum when Travis Head struck an impressive 48 off 24 deliveries.

Before Yadav came into the side, India raced to 31/3 in their powerplay as Ishan Kishan (5) and Naman Dhir (0) quickly fell for ducks early. Once Yadav joined them however, the visitors began rebuilding their innings successfully.

Suryakumar takes his opening boundary of the over from a full toss, which he hits behind the keeper for six. Nattu then bowls a short delivery that’s hit hard for another SIX by Suryakumar.

Suryakumar then hit an incredible shot by taking aerially and smashing it over the long-on fence for another six – his fourth six of the match! At 96 runs out now he needs one more boundary to reach 100.

Hardik Pandya 59 not out

Pandya was Mumbai’s last hope, yet even his efforts weren’t enough to salvage them from defeat. After scoring just 59 off 53 balls he walked off begrudgingly after accepting responsibility for their loss; citing how his inability to find his groove meant taking more risks – in particular to hit more shots to the boundary – which were missed during their innings.

Hardik failed to reach his half-century, yet was instrumental in helping Mumbai amass an impressive total on an evening where 38 sixes were hit. Hardik shared an outstanding third-wicket partnership of 143 runs with Tilak Varma who scored 64 off 34 balls; but Sunrisers proved too powerful a force for Mumbai batsmen as Abhishek Sharma, Heinrich Klaasen and Travis Head all chipped in for Hyderabad to seal an historic win.

Hardik Pandya’s poor runs and bowling performance has raised serious doubts as to his long-term role with India, and was recently dropped from T20 squad after India lost World Cup final and replaced by Shubman Gill (now vice captain).

Harbhajan Singh believes it’s time for Pandya to shed his all-rounder label, since he does not contribute in both departments like (Ben) Stokes and Chris Woakes do. “I believe we must remove his all-rounder tag as I feel that his contributions do not match those made by Stokes and Woakes,” Singh stated.

Hardik Pandya took to Twitter following the game to express his displeasure with how they performed, particularly their batsmen’s performance: “I am dissatisfied with how we played, especially our batsmen’s performance; we were very sloppy in both batting and bowling today. Additionally, Pandya believes his side could have taken a better approach during chase; he looks forward to meeting up with family and friends afterward as well as wish his fans for a productive weekend ahead.

Piyush Chawla 30 not out

Suryakumar Yadav scored an outstanding 104-ball century and Piyush Chawla added 30 more as Mumbai Indians set an enormous target of 278 runs against South Africa and West Indies in 2007. A record 38 sixes were scored during this match; surpassing South Africa and West Indies’ previous mark of 31 set against India by South Africa and West Indies against India in 2007. Chawla hit his half century off 24 balls, which featured three fours and five sixes en route.

Leg-spinner Zaheer Khan was in fine form against Sussex Royals on Wednesday, showing no ill effects from an injury sustained against them last time out. He excelled both on field and bat – picking up several catches to boot! As former Delhi Daredevils and Uttar Pradesh player, Zaheer is an exciting spinner with great international prospects; taking 35 wickets during his first season with them as well as striking an unforgettable blow against Sachin Tendulkar with his googly on ODI debut!

He is an aggressive batsman capable of scoring large quantities of runs for his side. In 2007, he made his Ranji Trophy debut and led the run scoring effort as Uttar Pradesh secured their inaugural Ranji trophy win with an outstanding run total of 224 runs – making his mark at slow tempo as well.

Chawla paid tribute to Rohit Sharma for his outstanding leadership and commitment to Mumbai Indians. Recalling an anecdote about an late-night strategy session with Rohit, Chawla noted his influence goes far beyond being captain alone. Rohit’s leadership has played a crucial part in leading Mumbai Indians to many victories; Chawla pledged his support of Rohit’s efforts going forward.

Travis Head 48 not out

At this stage of the Indian Premier League season, phrases such as “business end”, “must-win affair”, and “playing for pride” have become common parlance – just as frequently as Travis Head’s sixes or Jasprit Bumrah’s toe-crushers. That was what fans at Wankhede Stadium on Monday evening were waiting for, when two teams with high stakes met up in an exciting contest!

Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad gave the innings an early boost with Abhishek scoring 62 and Klaasen unbeaten 80 to set an ambitious 278-run target for Mumbai Indians to chase down. Unfortunately for their opponents however, until the last ten overs when Naman Dhir and Tilak Varma brought some life back into their innings thanks to aggressive strokeplay from youngster Naman Dhir.

Dhir was particularly difficult on the bowlers in his unbeaten 71-ball knock, hitting eight fours and three sixes while Varma provided much-needed support – however despite their best efforts it would always have been tough for MI to reach home within so many overs.

Jasprit Bumrah emerged to bowl a final over for Mumbai Indians, which ultimately proved decisive. Bowling slightly fuller this time and gathering some bounce, Jasprit took advantage of Markram’s edge and rocked it straight into his stumps for an important wicket that may have changed the entire outcome of this match.

However, SRH’s chase never really picked up from there and eventually fell short by seven wickets despite an outstanding bowling performance by MI’s bowlers – another disappointing result with only six matches left to play!

Head will look to make his mark during India’s ODI series against England starting soon, and hopes a good showing in India in the next several weeks could put him into contention for inclusion on an Ashes squad.
