Second T20I

After an impressive seven-wicket victory in the first T20I match, India hope to secure their first series victory under Shreyas Iyer with another victory in this second T20I. Zimbabwe are off to a fast start with Brian Bennett smashing Indian bowlers for boundaries before an excellent catch from Blessing Muzarabani sends him back.

Third T20I

The series remains precariously balanced as the third T20I takes place in Dharamshala. The HPCA Stadium, renowned for its short boundaries and lightning-quick outfield, should ensure another high-scoring contest.

Final T20I

Bangladesh completed their series win with ease thanks to an efficient bowling performance in the third Twenty20 International, led by Tanzid Hasan’s unbeaten half-century, Mustafizur Rahman and Rishad Hossain each taking three wickets each.

On Tuesday 2 December (Tuesday), both teams competed in an epic final match at Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram for the series trophy – Bangladesh triumphing by eight wickets!

Bangladesh made good use of their early losses with both bat and ball, including Saifuddin and Litton Das. Tanzid Hasan set the scene by scoring fifty in 36 balls to set up their innings; other batsmen joined him by scoring runs at will; ultimately enough runs were scored to give their visitors a comfortable victory.

Irish batsmen were unable to keep pace with Bangladesh’s bowling attack and they lost numerous wickets quickly, beginning with Mark Adair to Mustafizur’s googly and Harry Tector becoming trapped leg before trying for six over midwicket. Furthermore, Gareth Delany was caught at cover by Tanzid Hasan Sakib to end Ireland’s hopes for an impressive score.

Ireland have found their runs drying up as they have failed to cross the three-figure mark for over four overs now. George Dockrell finally finds one but can only beat deep backward square-leg for four as Bangladesh continue making life difficult for them.
