Rajasthan Royals vs. Chennai Super Kings
Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals have already missed out on making the playoffs, but still hope to compete for a top-10 finish.
Their match at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Tuesday, May 20 will determine who comes out victorious in their battle for top ten finish.
CSK currently lie 10th place with three victories from 12 matches while RR have claimed only four victories to rank ninth overall.
RR will look to salvage some pride by beating CSK in their final match of the season. After struggling with its middle order this season, Yashasvi and Vaibhav must step up in upcoming matches if RR are going to have any chance at finishing well in 2018.
Similarly, Fazalhaq and Shimron Hetmyer must step up their game and perform better as bowlers than they have so far this season.
IPL 2023

Rajasthan Royals may have experienced disappointment in failing to qualify for playoffs this IPL 2025 season, as their playoff hopes were dashed by Chennai Super Kings who lead with an advantaged net run-rate. At present the Royals sit ninth with six points while CSK boast the top position with seven.
The Royals enter this match following a 10-run loss to Punjab Kings while Super Kings have just secured a two-wicket win against Kolkata Knight Riders. Both teams have made several adjustments to their lineup.
KKR have released Mustafizur Rahman after being called up for Pakistan duty, while DC have brought in Axar Patel as a replacement for Rishabh Pant.
Meanwhile, Royals signed Ricky Ponting as head coach and Hemang Badani as assistant coach; Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi will also feature as new opening pair with Yashasvi joining Vaibhav Suryavanshi making up their opening pair in this year’s squad.
