Bangladesh National Cricket Team, known by their nickname – Bangla Tigers – is an international cricket team from Dhaka in Bangladesh that competes as part of the International Cricket Council events and major ICC tournaments.
Coached by Chandika Hathurusingha, they have won three Asia Cups while reaching quarter-finals of 2015 ODI World Cup; currently ranked eighth by ICC for both Tests and ODI rankings.
Bangladesh traveled to South Africa in 2022 for two Test matches and three ODI series; both ended in draws, though Bangladesh won one ODI match by 166 runs but lost to South Africa by 87 runs overall.
They also hosted Zimbabwe for five T20I matches against them and won their inaugural T20I match before losing all four matches with below par totals in each match – though Bangladesh eventually managed a win overall against Zimbabwe!
