Alishan Sharafu, born in Kerala and currently living in Dubai, UAE is an Emirati cricketer known for his hard work and disciplined approach to the game.

Sohaib Khan, an energetic youngster hailing from Bihar’s Kothi district and making waves on tennis-ball cricket’s biggest stage, the T20 World Cup, had become known for his brilliant tennis-ball performances. Playing for his state Ranji Trophy team and creating waves in interuniversity tournaments before taking centre stage for UAE against Canada with an astounding 29-ball 51 run scoring performance at their T20 World Cup match-up against Canada he took an astounding leap forward.

However, their task was no easy feat; they needed to chase a target of 151 runs with seven overs remaining to play and were trailing by two wickets with seven overs left to go. Sohaib rose up to meet this challenge and secured them an important win.

This game was an absolute nailbiter to watch; both teams were evenly matched across all departments and came down to the last over.

Sohaib, in particular, showed tremendous courage by going full and wide in order to stay outside right-handed batsman’s hitting arc, with Sohaib smashing his first ball for four. Aryansh Sharma followed it up by hitting six to reduce the deficit to just eight runs.

India boasts an outstanding record in white-ball cricket. They won their inaugural ODI in 1974 and inaugural T20I in 2006. Furthermore, India have gone on to dominate white ball cricket over time and produced some of the greatest cricketers such as Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman; additionally they have collected three Champions Trophies and five Asian Cups as well as being currently No 1 on ICC ODI Rankings.

For his efforts he was awarded with selection in India A’s squad for ICC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2026.

Suyash Sharma

Suyash Sharma has been an enchanting star on the Indian domestic cricket circuit. Born in Bhajanpura, North East Delhi, and trained by Suresh Batra as his childhood coach, Suyash created his signature leg-spin bowling action in various club cricket competitions before reaching DDCA hierarchy-level tournaments with his dedication and hard work.

At the 2023 IPL auction, KKR bid for him at a base price of 20 lakhs and quickly saw results in his debut match against RCB, taking three wickets and helping them secure victory for themselves. Since then he had gone on to bag 10 wickets throughout the season!

Suyash continues to impress for KKR and has won national recognition through his stellar performances. Recently, he has demonstrated consistency that can take him further in international cricket; his ability to spin the ball and attack from both ends has been impressive.

His maturity stands out, as he quickly assesses any given situation before making decisions on how best to approach playing it. India have already appointed him T20I captain ahead of their upcoming series against New Zealand.

The 22-year-old’s passion to progress and push himself has made him an invaluable member of KKR. Now, as they prepare to face New Zealand later this month, his determination will no doubt serve him well and provide him with another opportunity to prove himself against some of the world’s top talent.
